Duration: Dependant on the dive site location
Cape Town is unique in the way there is a variety of shore entries available on both sides of the peninsula. False Bay has beautiful, thick kelp forests that create an unusual environment for exploring, as well as a refuge for small marine animals and schools of fish. One will encounter numerous species such as nudibranchs, crustaceans, anemones, feather-stars, sponges, sea-fans, octopuses and cuttlefish, as well as many other interesting fish.
On our shore entry dives we visit many fascinating diving locations in Cape Town. Dives range from diving through the enchanting Kelp Forests, scuba diving with Spotted Seven Gill Cow Sharks, exploring sunken Wrecks as well as exploring colourful reefs. Our shore dives are conducted in calm pristine conditions and no excessive swimming is required to ensure maximum enjoyment of diving from our beautiful shore line.
Meet at the dive shop to complete some paperwork and check dive cards. After trying on your scuba equipment, your gear is packed and you will head off with the Ocean Experiences team to the dive site.
