Imagine sailing around in style with a view good enough to put on a postcard. We offer a more comfortable and spacious environment to do a dive trip onboard ESCAPE CAT, a 39’foot Scape catamaran which as a maximum capacity of 40 passengers has passenger safety and comfort in mind. Dives range from scuba diving with Cape Fur Seals in Cape Town, Ship Wrecks, Coral Reefs, enchanting Kelp Forests. The Western Cape’s land diversity is mirrored underwater with the unique positioning of the peninsula at the junction of two major ocean currents, the warm Aghulas and cool Benguela currents bring with them huge biodiversity to our Cape oceans, where the nudibranch hunters and macro lovers will be equally as thrilled those seeking whales, dolphins, sharks and seals.
Meet at the dive shop at 7h30 to complete some paperwork and check dive cards. After trying on your scuba equipment, your gear is packed and we head off with Ocean Experiences team to board the spacious catamaran o depart at 8h30 on a cruise to the dive sites. Once anchored we kit up for the first dive, during your surface interval fruit, biscuits, hot chocolate & water are served before entering for the second dive. We start heading back to the V&A Waterfront while relaxing and embracing all the beautiful views that the Atlantic Seaboard has to offer. Disembark at 11h00.
Prerequisites & Minimum Age
10 years old to dive.
A PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
Be in good physical health.
Maximum of 40 passengers onboard.
Maximum 8 divers.
Maximum 8 snorkelers (additional fee).
Non-divers welcome (additional fee).

2.5 hour charter onboard a spacious catamaran.
2 x dives.
Full equipment rental including 2 x air cylinder.
MPA Diving Permit (Marine Protected Area) - valid for 1 month.
1-2 Certified dive guides.
Fruit, biscuits, hot chocolate & water are served in the surface interval.
Gratuity. Hotel Transfers.
Seal Snorkeling can be added for R1,250 per person.
SUP Board rentals for R600 per person.
Non-divers for R1,000 per person.
