The winter season is almost over .... although winter diving can be very beautiful when the days start getting longer and hotter and the water temperature gets well in double digits we get very excited about the approaching Summer season. We want to highlight the various dive charters that Adrenalised Diving in the V&A Waterfront Cape Town will be offering so that you will be able to start planning your next scuba diving adventure in Cape Town. We have a variety of dive charters to suit everyone's individual scuba diving needs ranging from the thrilling ride on the rubber duck to a more luxurious cruise on a motorised catamaran or a superyacht. Even if you are wanting to surprise that 'special someone' in your life with an extra special diving experience we have it all for you. 8.5m RIB BOAT The rib boat or rubber duck is an 8,5m Gemini semi-rigid rib boat. The vessel is fully compliant with stringent SAMSA safety regulations for passenger's vessels and is certified to carry 12 passengers and 3 crew. We will, however, be limiting the number of divers to a maximum of 8 divers and 2 give guides to give our customers a more personal diving experience and to maximise diver comfort. Refreshments and snacks are provided on the trips. The rib boat will be launching directly from the V&A Waterfront or out of Hout Bay Harbour for all the dive sites on the Atlantic side of Cape Town, which is dived in the summer season. We will be using the rubber duck for a various single tank or double tank dive packages as well as for our unique and exclusive dive charter to one of the most iconic Heritage sites in South Africa which is Robben Island. Adrenalised Diving has been granted permission to Dive Robben Island within the 1 Nautical Exclusion zone and will be running 2 trips per week with a maximum of 8 divers per trip. The boat is equipped with the following: 2 x 200hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard motors Marine Radio GPS and Fish Finder Emergency Oxygen and First Aid Kits Life Jackets 40 FOOT MOTORISED CATAMARAN For those who are looking at 'Diving in Style', we offer a 40f motorised catamaran which we use for 2 tank dive packages launching from the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. Non-divers are also welcome onboard. You have the option to enjoy the view from the trampolines in the front or to relax inside undercover. The trip out to the dive sites is very relaxed giving you an opportunity to potentially come across whales, dolphins, penguins even seal along the way, giving you a mini eco-tour of Cape Town. Refreshments, fruit platters and snacks are provided on the trips. We will be limiting the number of divers to a maximum of 8 divers and 2 give guides to give our customers a more personal diving experience and to maximise diver comfort. Originally designed as a high-performance sailing catamaran, this vessel was chosen because it is stable and spacious and because its slim hulls are easily driven, which allows propulsion power to be minimised. The foredeck has been customised to allow more people to sit safely in the open air. Passengers can also sit on comfortable moulded seats in the spacious main cockpit, sheltered by a curved canopy with large plexiglass windows. There is also onboard toilet facilities as well as Beer-on-Tap available to divers ONLY on the way back. The vessel is powered with two relatively small four-stroke outboard motors, which minimises noise, vibration, fuel burn, and pollution. The vessel is fully compliant with stringent SAMSA safety regulations for passenger vessels, and is certified to carry 40 passengers. Life jackets are carried for all passengers, and crew members ensure that they are worn by children aged 12 and under as required by the regulations. The vessel carries two 25-person life rafts, and the entire foredeck is enclosed with lifelines. Both skipper and crew are highly qualified and experienced. PRINCESS 55 SUPER YACHT This dive charter offered by Adrenalised Diving used for the 2 tank dive packages launching from the V&A Waterfront, on the Princess 55 Super Yacht is for a completely luxurious & unique scuba diving experience in Cape Town. This elegant super yacht has plenty of space for divers and non-divers alike, enjoying refreshments, fruit platters, hot chocolate and snacks. Again, we will be limiting the number of divers to a maximum of 8 divers and 2 give guides to give our customers a more personal diving experience and to maximise diver comfort. It offers a luscious interior cabin and toilet facility, a comfortable deck space as well as a convenient diving platform, there is also a fly bridge to get an unobstructed view of the magnificent landscape that surrounds Cape Town. When sitting in the fly bridge you will also have a birds eye view of any majestic marine life in the Atlantic ocean.
