Yes, they will have to be at least 10 years old to join on the scuba diving courses and seal snorkeling experience.
Every seat or space for our activities needs to be reserved per seat, therefore we are able to offer discount for bigger groups, however this will need to be arranged and booked beforehand.
You will need to arrive 1 hour before the dive/snorkel at our shop in the V&A Waterfront. You will receive a reminder email 2 days before your scheduled activity to confirm time and provide any updates. Directions to our shop can be found here.
We usually meet at 07:30 at the shop and depart the Waterfront at 08:30 and return at 10h30 /11h00 after one dive or snorkel and 14h30 after two dives.
We have a 8.5m Gemini Rib boat for our boat activities.
All of our water activities are weather dependent and we do our best to schedule you on the most suitable days for the activity. We are able to make more accurate decisions on the day of the activity and a final risk assessment will be conducted which will determine conditions to dive/ snorkel, should we cancelled due to unsafe diving conditions or any other reason, we will reschedule you to a more suitable day, if you are not able to reschedule, 100% of your money will be refunded.
We try to give you the best view that Cape Town has to offer, you will see Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range from all angles right through the entire trip.
We can take you around Robben Island if weather/ sea conditions allows, but we cannot stop and get off onto the Island due to certain restrictions.
The best way to pay is by making your booking online via our website using your card through our online payment portal. This way your activity is secure and you do not have to worry about cards not working on the day or carrying around large amounts of cash.
When joining us on the trips please bring along your swimming costume & towel, sunblock and some water to keep hydrated, although we do provide biscuits, water/juice on the boat. For scuba diving trips please bring along your certification card and logbook and dive gear (if you have your own). For full day courses a light lunch is also recommend, however there are many places to purchase lunch along the way.

When booking onto our seal dive or seal snorkel it is always good to come in your swimming clothes and bring warm clothes for after. We keep our wetsuits on for the entire duration of the boat trip.

When participating in the ocean safari’s its best to bring a warm jacket.

We offer complimentary collection service within the CBD and surrounds for minimum 2 pax. Please arrange this with us a couple of days in advance via email.
Should you cancel with us on the day the full amount will be forfeited. Should you provide more than 48 hours notice we will reschedule or cancel with no rescheduling fee, however if less than 48 hours notice is given a fee of R250 will be charged.

Yes, you are required to present us with your scuba diving or freediving qualification from PADI (or a qualifying certification from another organisation).

If you do not have a certification we can take you on a Discover Scuba Program to try out diving or we can offer you a full Open Water course.

If you have not dived within a year we require you to do a refresher course before diving.
Dives are weather dependant and are accessed beforehand, the most suitable dives are chosen for that day. We offer rib boat dives which depart from the V&A Waterfront as well as shore dives which are based on the False Bay coastline in Simons Town.
For all of our activities we meet at our shop in the V&A Waterfront on Quay 5.

Yes, you will be required to complete a booking form before participating in any activity. You will be required to acknowledge the T&C's when completing the booking form.

When enrolling on any PADI courses and programmes, you will required to complete a student record file as well as a medical questionnaire. You will need to read through the medical questionnaire and check if there are any questions that you have answered 'Yes' to. If there are any 'Yes' answers you will need to go see your physician / doctor to clear you for any scuba diving activities. Please note: before you are allowed to participate in any in-water activities we need your signed medical statement.
